Burned yellow pine Bullet Pen

This is my first post, so hope it goes ok...made this 30 cal bullet pen from yellow pine then burnt it with a torch while spinning on the lathe. Sanded it down to 1800 grit and applied a CA finish.:beer::beer:

Looks almost like some sort of burl or something...would have never thought typical yellow pine could look like this. Burnt or otherwise, cool idea!

your very welcome. glad you found your way over. the pen you pulled your inspiration from was part of the pine pith, a huge world with pen exchange we do here. keep your eyes open for the next one, they are fun.
