Coolabah (Eucalyptus Microtheca) burl can vary from whitish to deep red in this Burl form is highly desirable, one of the hardest and strogest timbers on earth found in Australia.

The tree named in the song Waltzing Matilda.

Beautiful pen, (but I've seen Coolabah burl before) Just joking, usually your pens are out of some woods many of us have never seen or heard of before.
