Burl - Boo Hoo

Noticed this burl on an Oak tree in a city park.

Wonder if the Mayor would let me harvest it? Would love to have a chunk of it in my shop.

For reference, my son is 5' 8".

I'm sure if you were to contribute a small sum of money to the re-election fund he has going, you could probably have the entire tree....maybe something around $500,000.00



Now if it were a Spalted Pecan Burl......I'd go down in the middle of the night..........................shhh
