Burl/Acrylic on Jr. Retro Copper

I had some trouble finishing this. I first applied BLO to seal the wood, then I finished like an acrylic, then I finished with CA. It turned out fantastic and I love the combination of burl and acrylic.

Wow, that's beautiful what an amazing combination its blends flawlessly. Did you make the blank? If so how did you do that?

I didn't make the blank, I want to learn one day but I barely have the time to make pens. I bought it from Ankrom Exotics.

Pretty stuff... I still have trouble like the copper kits, but this is about as close as I've come.

I like the bank and I even like the copper. I'm not all that fond of the shape, but hey...thats just me. Looks like a great fit and finish and that is what is important.
