I've been using my kitless FP for several months at work and like how it feels and writes. My next project is changing to a Bock nib to see how that writes.
During a vidcon with another division that my boss was visiting I placed the cap on my laptop to keep it out of the way. The meeting was over and I closed the lid. Crack! I said "no!no!no!" My boss heard it over the phone and asked "was that one of your custom pens?"
Yep, I cracked the cap. Looks like my next project is turning down the cap. The threads are up by the nib so I should be able to turn it and salvage it. The material is Mazzucchelli Cebloplast from Classic nib.
