I am currently working on cigar wrappers on a tube cast in clear poly resin. What do you use to seal the wrappers so bubbles don't appear? I've used clear acrylic spray, modge podge, and clear nail polish. None seem to be consistent.

I only use 5 drops of activator per ounce of resin and it goes into a pressure pot at 40 psi for 5-6 hours minimum, usually overnight. Some come out perfect with no bubbles while others have bubbles right next to the tube.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't coat the wrappers with anything. I turn down a wood blank and just glue the wrapper to the wood with CA, wait three days and cast it. I use 3.5 drops of MEKP per ounce of poly resin.
