Brown mallee burl

I am cleaning out the shop and came across these Brown mallee slabs and one turning block that is 1 3/4 square and about 7+ inches long. The slabs are 3/4 thick and have an awesome rare dark brown black line, there are a few cracks but that is to be expected of a dense wood from Australia. The wood is dry and stable. $28 shipped. I figure that works out to less than $2 per blank plus some casting material.

You got them. I also have this mix of wood perfect for larger pens. I will cut into blanks if someone wants. Each block should yield two pen blanks. One spalted maple Burl block 1 3/4 square by 5 inches, two redwood lace Burl , one amboyna Burl block, one jarrah Burl and two macadamia nut blocks from Hawaii. Should get 15-17 blanks out of this group. Price $45 shipped.
