Bronze (oilrubbed color) Pen kits, any ideas?

I've had a few customers ask if I had Bronze (dark brown) pen kits. Anyone have any Ideas on where to find some?

The closest you will find is copper.

Ive seen a few satin gold but not sure what kits they are available in. Ever thought of trying that liquid solution for making gloss gold into antique gold, only on copper?

I think the copper on pens is covered with a clear coat, so that it doesn't turn green...

I don't know that a liquid solution would work through that clear coat...

Powder coating the fittings might work.
