I spent my summers in college working at a camp outside of Branson on Lake Table Rock. Such beautiful country.

One of my daughters and her family live in the country right outside of Warsaw near the lake.

Been to Sedalia many times when I lived in KC.

Excellent pictures!

Anyone going to Branson should take time to go to Dogwood Canyon - about 15 or so miles SW of Branson. That is a nice place to go and takes about 3 to 4 hours minimum to see the place. A great place to eat fresh trout. Dogwood Canyon is owned by Johnny Morris, the founder of Bass Pro.

LOML and I go to Branson area about 3 - 4 times a year as our middle daughter lives 25 miles N of Branson.

IF you are in the area, the Bass Pro in Springfield has a large aquarium of fresh water type of fish and animals. I think it is the largest Bass Pro store, bar none! At least the largest of any I have been in from Texas to FL.

Heck, that shop and aquarium was there when I was in my early 20s. I'm going to be 62 in a couple of months.

IIRC, it's the first Bass Pro Shop.
