Boxelder Burl/Ebony 7mm

I made this 7mm as a birthday present for my little sister. I used green-dyed boxelder burl on European/Designer tubes, and segmented a custom aluminum-ebony-aluminum centerband on the last 1/4" of the longer blank. This is my first success getting any segmentation to hold together, which is encouraging. You have to start somewhere. Thanks for looking. C&C welcome.

I love that pen. IMO they shouldn't even include centerbands with those kits. Custom centerbands make them look . . . . well . . . . . . custom.:wink:

That pen looks great all the way around. Please post an image in the no comments thread in segmenting. Especially if this is your first segmenting success. I can't imagine how great your pens will be over time this is a good one that is for sure.
