Box Elder Burl Neuveau Sceptre

I got a stabilized box elder burl blank dyed brown from Exotic Blanks the other day , decided to use it with a rhodium & gold Neuveau Sceptre kit . The blank really looked a bit on the drab side before turning it , but there was plenty of good looking stuff down inside IMO . It was a little chippy starting out but I slowed down and took shallow bites with the chisel and it turned nice and smooth . Here's a few pics .

Thanks TT . The display stand is just a cut off from a cherry burl I sliced up with a small cedar twig drilled into it , my quick , crude attempt at a stand for taking pictures
