Hi,
here are my first bowls. I tryed to turn these free hand "over cross", hope you enjoy it

wood is spalted beech tree, apple tree, grenadill,plum tree,
diameter is 30 until 80 mm

Did you mean "balls"? :D They look great. Looks like your working on making a model of the solar system with the different sizes.

my dictionary says bowls, thank's for correcting:) it's a nice comparison. Hope the earth is not the black one:D

Hi Harry, very nice looking balls. I remember years ago my old woodturning club made a challange to make balls. It is a lot harder than it looks. At that time I made more odd balls than balls.

Hi, i thought turning spheres is easyer. I needed about an hour for one ball. At the end i was happy and a little bit proud too.The difference of the diameters was only til 3/10 mm.
