Hello again! I've got the tools, I've got the chucks, and I've got the lathe. Now i have finished a couple test bowls and I'm looking to finish them, i have tried WTF and i just find its not that nice... idk what I'm going for but it dosent seem to tickle my fancy! i coat my pens in supper glues so im used to a very high polish however i don't think thats what I'm looking for here I'm just looking for something that easy and fast but i don't wanna use an oil really cause it need to be reapplied every so often. So could anyone give me any ideas I'm thinking shellawax of some sort but they have 3 products and idk what to use in what order or how to apply etc. etc! again thanks in advance!!!

WTF can be done to a high polish.

put on a coat. let it dry completely - then sand with 400 grit

another coat

then buff using a Beall (or similar) system

you can get a very glossy finish with WTF.

Cris there are a number of top turners in your area I know there are many Clubs Guilds in operation where you will get valuable guidance, some of the most respected members of this forum live there.

Kind regards and welcome from over here. Peter.
