Bought me a metal lathe.

I officially have joined the metal lathe club and now need to figure out how to use it.

Found a HArbor Frieght lathe and worked out a trade with the previous owner.

I trade 2 1/10 gold eagle coins close to $400 value for:

Got home did not have anywhere to put it, so a friend and I built a turning area in my shop.

I stll have to finish the cabinets. I have to mill some oak down for the face frame and gets some oak ply to make the doors.

Welcome to the frey. Like Chuck says the freedom that these afford is amazing.

It is amazing how much you use it once you have one. Not just for pen turning but many other things as well.
