Didn't work like I hoped (really really hoped b/c it's a gorgeous blank) b/c of some air bubbles...

Oh well. Happens.

I don't think the longer section helps at all either.

Yeah - I know.
It's straight b/c that's what the customer wanted. Personally - I can't stand to use a pen with a straight section. :)
Of course, 2 years ago that's all I wanted. Go figure.

Haha, I agree...a slight pinch is fine but straight, naa. That one almost looks fat in the picture. Whatever the customer wants....:befuddled: Body materials look great though.

Beautifuly done Shawn, Sorry about the bubbles. Next time ill let the phone ring...lol

I'm glad it threaded and turned good for ya.

I think a slight pinch would lookk better but the customer is always right

Thanks for the comments!
This has been one of the prettiest blues I've turned yet, for sure.

As for the holes - most got turned off but a couple stayed behind..
I hid them in the photos...

Yeah!

You should see it now. I filled it with epoxy last night and turned it clean this morning and handed it to my wife - she looked and looked and couldn't find the spot.
It's a beautiful material.
