Is there a way for me to block the Cheers and Jeers forum so I don't get drawn into the threads and wasting my time?

I'm getting tired of reading about someone having a good or bad experience.

We all know who does the great jobs of shipping and notifications.

We also know the vendors who may not be providing shipping notifications within an hour after placing the order. Personaly, I don't run my business where I need items tomorrow. If I do, I expect to pay the premium shipping coosts, but that eats away at profits.

I would rather not see these messages in my list. Can it be done?

It depends on which "list" you are referring to. If you mean the list of messages when you click on "Get New Posts" then yes you can block it. Click on your name, then Customize Profile, then Edit Options, scroll to the bottom, under miscellaneous options you can highlight the forums you would like to exclude from the list when you select "Get New Posts". But the forum names will still show up under the list of forums if you would like to manually navigate inside them to see what's been happening.

hahaha, Sometimes I think people copy and paste old threads into their own because they all sound and read the same and all of the responses are the same.

Nope. needs to be said. Vendors need to pay attention to their ratings. If I screwed up in my career, I lost money. If my wife were to screw up on her job, she's be fired. That is the American way. Sorry Bud,

You have a choice, click or bypass. There is no one to blame but yourself if you click. I have made a conscious effort not to click....in most cases *LOL*

All the above.LOL.I cann't help clicking these some times too.But I "do" get to feel good about the efforts to help understand, and guide. And even the frustrated comments to the poster that I can understand.I never forget that "I" clicked seeing the title. And"I" am the one that stayed there.Maybe several pages.I have to LOL at myself and enjoy this great sit and it's great folks. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

It may need to be said, but I don't have to read it.

And, yeah, I could skip past it. I go into the new posts forum when I open IAP. I find the Cheers/Jeers posted there. I could skip them, but I even tired of reading a topic about the same vendors that I really don't care to see the topic headings. To me, the topics are even a waste of time.

Thanks for telling me how to turn it off. I won't even miss it.

No attention

Personally I only read the ones that are a new experience .... if someone has had lots of cheers (and several do get a lot) I don't read new ones, I already know its a good vendor - if I saw a jeer I'd be curious and read it. Ditto with jeers if there are a ton of jeers, I don't need to read new ones.
