So I'm doing some remodeling and it's forced me to do some cleaning. I came across two of these in an old box. I'm thinking throw them up on amazon. But man.... Have we come a long way in computer / game technology... Making me feel old.

That was my first computer, 4K of memory and a tape drive to store programs. When I finally got rid of it and bought my first PC it had 1M of memory and 2 hard drives. Using OS9 as the operating system I could actually do things with it I couldn't do with my first PC but we were using PC's at work so I had to go that way.

Can anyone say, "timex/Sinclare"? Had to make my own keyboard. "No one will ever need more memory than 640K!" Memories oh memories! Good ol' days?

Flasback indeed! At the time my wife worked at Tandy and her best friend was dating the plant manager at the "Color Computer" division. Needless to say we became friends and in no time my spare room was full of "stuff". Things that hadn't even hit the market yet were popping up and my case was full of holes, hacked out clearance holes and hand soldered components, special cables to allow three disk drives to be hooked up. My proudest moment was when I got the program "Dancing Devil" to work, complete with the curtain drop at the end! I never knew what a real game cartridge looked like, everytime he would come over he just handed me a circuit board with edge connectors attached and said... try this one!
