Am I the only one that will have a blank and look at it and decide ahh that is too nice to put on this kit or that kit, and it ends up sitting there for months, because you don't want to make it on this or that.

Lately I have been getting acrylic from woodcraft or some wood blanks and I like them in the store and get home and ahh nah I don't want to turn that one. Is it OCD for me?

I have a collection of those blanks as well. Probably too many. So no, you're not the only one. And all of us have some form of OCD.....

I know exactly what you mean. I guess I have the same form of OCD and a lot of blanks that just haven't found the right kit.

I have a bunch like those that I really like, but am waiting for the right pen. But I still keep ordering most new ones that come out. Vendors like that. Guess I like to have a nice selection on hand for anything that comes along.

Haha I know what your sayin, I have some 1 1/2 cherry burl spindle blanks that are highly figured and I kringe every time a think about cutting into it.

I used to have that problem. Discovered along the way to ONLY buy the most beautiful blanks and to use them. I have way too many "meh" blanks from earlier days. I won't turn it unless it is beautiful.
