I've done some with a boxer, ladybug and names using waterslide decals. Print your image with your ink jet printer, apply the decal over your blank and then several layers of CA so you get a smoothe surface.

Hi and thanks. I'm not a fan of CA right now but might try it sometime down the line

I apply mine to a piece of Curly Maple using Testors Water Slide Clear Decal paper and apply 6 coats of MINWAX WBOM Clear Gloss Polyurethane using my "Dipping Method".
