Black Walnut for bowls

Good looking wood... should make some beautiful bowls....I do like turning Walnut.
I scored a couple of walnut trees a few years back... think I've used up most of one of them... the other has been stacked outside my shop for few years now and may be beyond use.... interesting thing about this particular stack of wood, I did turn some of it shortly after I got it.... the tree grew next to the fence of a horse lot... the first 2 or 3 piece I did turn from the wood all smelled like the horses... a strong horse urine smell. maybe by now it has leeched out?
