To a friend who lost his last black rhino to poaching

Great pen but when are we going to get rid of this poaching problem and be able to protect what is left..??

What other animals have your friend lost due to poaching...?

A heartfelt gesture from your part, I only hope the reason behind making it was a very different one...!

As long as there is a black market for animal parts, there will be poaching. Natives can make more off one poached animal that they can earn in several years. Here in Tennessee, we have a problem with poaching of black bears. The gall bladders are supposed to have some medicinal benefits in some cultures. If so, then why do doctors remove the gall bladder?

That is a beautiful pen, although I must admit to experiencing some cognitive dissonance with the image of the Rhino on a bullet pen.

Thx George...sorry for the late response.....yes poaching is a huge problem in South Africa and it will not improve as long as gov. officials are involved. My friend is losing game on a regular basis but rhino is the main target.....our local game reserve lost 23 rhino in 5 days!
