Certain woods present challenges to different people,my problem wood has for the longest time been BLACK PALM .
So my plan was to build a pen from this goddess of punishment and have my way with this material as well.
The blanks were turned without mishap and the inlace is a planned embellishment. NO really!! I removed the tan soft wood and replaced it with Inlace.
C&C welcome
Mark

Hey Wayne,
Let's have some fun with this,I've got an idea, drift over to casual conversation and
I'll explain what I'm thinking.
In fact I would like to extend the invitation to anyone that wants to have a little fun.

That is spectacular!

I don't have enough experience to even begin guessing how you did that.

I have some black palm blanks that I have been looking at and moving on. They don't look the slightest bit like they will want to cooperate.

:rolleyes: Mark; You are not alone !! I find that Palm is one of the most stressful woods to work with. Very cleaver idea you have. Looks great. Jim S
