I have had my eye in this blank for a while and it finally became a razor. Great what you can do with a "short" 3-1/4" blank. The more I look at the figure, the more I like it. We'll see if it agrees with a buyer too.

Mark, that is a beautiful razor, it should be a quick mover. If you don't mind me asking, generally, around how much do they sell for? I've thought about making a few, but the price of all of the components required to make one, I'm afraid would price them beyond my buyers limits.

I sell razors for $45 and sets for $125. With off brand razors by mail and the like people who buy my products understand quality. They appreciate the diameter of the handle and the weight which helps with control. If I get someone to touch the razor shown above and they will smile; it is very smooth indeed. This razor required over 20 coats of CA to fill the voids and imperfections.

Well $45.00 isn't to high of a price, that would convert to $56.25 here with the exchange rate. A bit high, but they still would have sold before the three mills and two mines in the area closed. It's awfully hard to sell anything around here nowadays, the area is in such a depressive state. But, I still should make a few though, I'll have to look into buying a few razors and a couple of kits. If they don't sell, I can always give them out as gifts.

This is not a political statement

People for about a year have been more loose with their spending. Our sales of higher end pens and more expensive cutting boards have increased over twice what we have sold in the last two years. I hope it continues...
