Black Cherry Bowls

Made a couple of black cherry bowls this weekend. I love the color and grain. I was slow getting around to these and they developed some cracks before I could turn them, I left the cracks. I think that they complement the natural edge. I lost a little of the bark on the thinner walled bowl and left the other a little thicker than I normally turn bowls. I like the thicker look on this one.

Excellent turning Cody!

As you realize, not all will turn out as anticipated - but they will turn as they will turn... Each has it's highlights. I like all, but door #3 is very nice!
