Pheasant feathers with tied flies cast in Polyester Resin on a Black Titanium/Chrome Elegant Beauty.
Sanded to 400 grit, buffed with super fine steel wool and polished with Huts Ultra Gloss.

That is a really sharp pen. I think the finish looks great. I think I must be wasting my time micromeshing to 12k. Do you use the steel wool while the lathe is turning?

I buff with the lathe running at turning speed, then rub the blank length wise and clean with a tack cloth.
