Birdseye Bocote, Cambodian burl, Cocobolo, Buckeye

Birdseye Bocote on Compson gold-tons and tons of figure in this wood! Wow!

Red Cambodian burl/Sierra-I love this wood and have only ever seen this one piece; anyone have any to sell or trade?

Cocobolo matched with a Panache.

Buckeye burl with what looks like a lightning bolt going into the nib!-very cool! I saw the white flash and tried to drill/turn to keep it in place and running out the bottom of the blank. It worked out better than I could have thought!

Thanks a lot, Jim. yeah, I didn't like the style for a long time but it's growing on me. For masculine pens like carbon fiber and Buffalo horn it works great.

That Cambodian burl looks an awful lot like Amboyna burl. What is the difference?

I'm no expert but the Cambodian Burl was a lot harder and much deeper red
