Bird House Ornament and Candle Holder

This is the first bird house ornament I have turned. It was inspired by Bill Hayes ( A member of our turning club) It is spalted maple and the birds are turned from purple heart

The candle holder is inspired by Rude Osolnik who turned and sold 140,000 of these in his career. It is made from trimmings from a bowl blank..curly maple, 11 inches high
