Hi Guys, all maple this go-round. Bigleaf Maple root burl and some cluster burl. Cluster burl has a "C" in the lot description. Pretty clever? ; ) Cluster burl has more figure because of the way the burl affects the growth rings. Clusters grow on the trunk compared to root burl. I like 'em all but they do have different characteristics.

MP8, $7.00 + $4.00 to ship = $11.00 total. Bigleaf maple burl pen blanks. Seven pieces will measure 5/8 x 5/8 (a couple of 'em a little more than 5/8 on one dimension) x 5" long. Not great pieces but for 7 bucks... Pics are misted.
MP9, $9.00 + $4.00 to ship = $13.00 total. Bigleaf maple burl pen blanks. Six pieces will measure 3/4 x 3/4 x 5" long. Note some bark inclusions. Dig out the bark and replace it with something pretty. Pics are misted.
MP189, $12.00 + $4.00 to ship = $16.00 total. Bigleaf maple pen blanks. Six pieces will measure 3/4 x 3/4 x 5" long. Price is low on these because they don't have as much burl as my best ones. Pics are misted.
