Well I finally got my Silmar 41 and my mica powders in. So I had my kids come help me pick some colors and mix them up. In case there are some out there that dont know resin goes from liquid to gel really quick when it happens. Well the mess that ensued while trying to pour ruined 2 blanks(both of the ones my kids mixed up) Here is all we managed to get in the mold of the two.

Trim off the edges on that first cast and put it back in the mold upside down and recast it! If you have a pressure pot it'd fill all those voids but even without one it could work. You'd just have to fill any voids during the turning process. Could be something amazing when finished!

Your second pours look great btw!

The only thing that would make it better is if it were in my pocket. Great job!

I'm with you, the only thing that would make it better would be if it were mine, Nice wok I like the one on the far left of the full blanks, that looks like it could be interesting with the right color on the tubes.

I'd use a color that doesn't take over the colors in the blank as well as a color that would wash out the blank colors, so that would be not black, and not white. I think black would change the blues/golds to green and white you probably wouldn't see much of it outside of direct light. maybe a medium purple or non metallic sliver?
