Big Horn Sheep have traction

Friend set me these. Taken at the Buffalo Bill Dam, Cody Wyoming. Don't know if it a phot crop or not. I have seen the dam and belive they could do it based on what I have seen of them up on a mountain.

And obvioulsy not afraid of heights ... makes me dizzy just looking at those pictures!

I wonder what they could possibly want to get at up there. Obviously there's no food or water. Perhaps they are young adult male sheep that are base-jumpers looking for a thrill

Apparently those are not bighorn sheep, but ilbex - and not in the US, but rather on the Diga del cigino bridge in Italy...according to Snopes, anyway...

Taking a closer look at their horns, I believe you may be right... doesn't look like bighorns.

Yes, looking at the last more close-up photo I can see they are more like the ibex I've seen at San Diego Zoo.

Still makes me dizzy looking at those photos.

This has been around the internet for awhile. The pictures are faked. That is not the Bill Cody dam, the "Big Horn Sheep" are actually Ibex which are not indigenous to Wyoming. I think the dam is actually somewhere in the East European area. Its a great conversation starter, however.

I would like to see a picture of what the bottom of that dam looks like. How many big horns are laying flat down there?
