A while back, I purchased some Elegant Wall Street II kits from Woodcraft. While disassembling one to re-work the tube, I managed to ruin the transmission.

Assuming that Berea made all these kits, I emailed them to ask about the possibility of purchasing a replacement. They replied, very graciously, and pointed out that they aren't the only manufacturer, and that threading and other factors vary slightly from maker to maker.

After sending them a photo of my transmission, they said they had some in stock and offered to send me one. At no cost to me.

Woodcraft would have charged me for the part, had they bothered to keep them in stock. Berea just sent it to me at their own expense. Guess which vendor I'll be going to for these kits in the future? (Okay, it'll probably be Exotic Blanks, but that too is to reward one who "gets" customer service).

Way to go, Berea!
