Beer and soda bottle cap pens

These pens are made from used bottle caps. The Pepsi pen is made from 1960s caps.

I have made several pens using bottle caps. A fun little project to do.

those are great. Another thing to add to my bucket list to try. I saw someone mention jeweler pliers to bend watch parts. Is that what you used for the bottle caps?

I just grind the ridges off on a belt sander and bend em around the tube to shape em.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. So to answer some of the questions I use a pair of metal masters offset snips that can cut straight to left. I try and get as close to the top of the cap as I can. Then I take a brass hammer and flatten the cap out. After it is flat I cut the cap into a circle. I then sand the cap at the disc sander. I use a bolt about the size of the pen tube and shape the cap with a nylon tipped hammer around the bolt. I hope this helps.
