Hi All,
The first photo's are of a Cocobola Patriot Set, with a friction polish, for some reason it doesn't want to take CA/BLO. (Got to start using Enduro!)
Next up is a Kingwood Patriot, first time truning Kingwood, I was surprised at the colour during turning, a real deep purple.
After that I made my first Poplar Burr pen. Very soft wood, and even though I stabalised with CA during turning, it marked on the cross grain during turning and sanding. Try as I may, I could'nt get rid of the slight "tear marks/blackening" no matter how much I sanded.
Next is a Jarrah Burl European. Lovely to turn.
Last is an Acrylic Slimline. Out of all of these pens, my wife liked this one the most![B)] [xx(]
