I'm very excited to offer a new selection of Alligator jawbone blanks, each one pressure casted in Alumilite Clear resin.

Included is a selection of full size blanks measuring about 5 ¼" long by 1" square (black, blue, gold, copper, orange, red and green). Also included is a selection of short blanks measuring about 2 ½" long by 1" square (copper, black, gold and blue).
Each item contains a single jawbone piece carefully shaped and positioned to maximize "tooth" exposure. The color and character of my example pens are what you can expect when turning them. The top of the bones are deliberately left exposed to assist in tube positioning but in many cases you should be able to drill these blanks on center and achieve great results. The short blanks work well for bullet pens and single tube pens like the Wall Street/Sierra.

Careful attention should be given to turning Alligator bone. It is a hard yet porous material that requires VERY sharp tools and liberal doses of CA. It is recommended that you wear a dust mask and use heavy ventilation. It is also recommended that you either back paint the blanks or paint the tubes black.

Warning! In case you haven't heard, this stuff really stinks while turning. Once properly sealed and finished, they are like most other materials - smooth, clean and odor freeJ

Full size blanks are $25 each, short blanks are $14 each. These will be shipped out USPS Mail. Shipping to any US address is free; $6 to any Canadian address. Let me know which items you want and I'll PM you with Paypal info.
1/22/12 - Updated for sold blanks. (Note - all bone pieces runs the full length of each blank. Just because you can't see parts from the top doesn't mean they aren't there.)
