There were 5 Entries into the Basic Casting Contest this year. Your job will be to pick the best made pen.
Pen 1
Title of Your Entry: Taste the rainbow
Description: Eight translucent Alumilite dyes were used to color Liquid Diamond resin, mixed with pearlescent white mica powder to increase the opacity. Poured in a flat mold using a secret method (haha), one picture is a composite of the four sides of the blank before turning. Plain black-colored resin was used to create delineation between the cap and the body and to make the section. A textured roll stopper poured in black colored resin was glued to the cap to enhance the overall appearance.

Pen 2
Title of Your Entry: Blurple slim click pen
Description: I used Silmar-41 with Busan Blue and Rainbow Violet from Eye Candy with a few bits of glitter flake. I put it on a slim click pen. It's all blue in low light and really sparkles beautifully.
Pen 3
Title of Your Entry: Mashed Ube
Description: This blank was poured using Alumilite Clear Slow and Eye Candy Pigments. The pigments are Barney Purple, a medium blue-purple from the Eye Candy Hue series, Amaterasu Silver, and Kanpanyura, a light velvet purple from the Eye Candy Pastel series. The blank is named Mashed Ube after the purple yam.
The blank is fitted to a Purple Snap Cap kit from William Wood-Write.

Pen 4
Title of Your Entry: tricolor one-piece
Description: Alumilite clear slow, ocean blue, macropearl, reflex violet

Pen 5
Title of Your Entry: Recipe #19
Description: Blade ballpoint pen kit. The blank was made with Alumilite clear slow resin and mica powder. Black, orange, silver & teal. The finish is Glue Boost.
