Is the 'resin' required to be liquid or can it be semi-solid, 2 part epoxy at the time of blank creation?

Resin in this case is a generic term for epoxy. alumilite, silmar 41 etc not brand or makeup specific. Whether you cast it as a liquid, or semi solid is not an issue. Just as long as you do all the work in creating the blank.
