Welcome to the 2015 Birthday BASH Puzzle Contest
In addition to the Universal Bash Guidelines, the contest rules are as follows:
This contest will provide about 5-7 puzzles over a 1-2 week timeframe for your puzzle-solving entertainment. It takes some time to generate and upload the puzzles, create the entry forms and to review and process your entries, so please be patient with the puzzle gurus.
When a new puzzle is posted, you will have at least 24 hours to solve the puzzle and submit your solution using the entry form or submittal process for that specific puzzle. Be sure to follow the submission instructions exactly or your entry will be disqualified. Note that the submission process may vary depending on the type of puzzle.
There is no hurry to solve any puzzle except to finish it before the time limit on that puzzle expires (minimum of 24 hours). All correct entries will earn 1 point. At the conclusion of the contest, the member with the most points wins. If there is a tie for the most points, the winner will be selected by random draw.
You may make only one entry per puzzle and once the time limit for a puzzle has expired, no further entries can be made for that puzzle.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes (depending on availability) will be awarded.
The prizes are to be determined.
If daily prizes are available in addition to the overall contest prizes, all correct entries for each puzzle will be entered into a random draw for a daily prize (typically a box of blanks). You may not win more than one daily prize during the puzzle contest, but this will not affect your eligibility to win one of the overall contest prizes.
