I have not been able to do very much in my workshop ( or anywhere else ) as I took a tumble 3 weeks ago and fractured my ribs on the left side.
However I seem to be mending and hope to get at it soon..... as long as I don't sneeze!!!! which causes a lot of pain.
Here's a jolly wee tune to cheer us all up called Banish Misfortune.......hope you like it.

Alan; Get a "belly band". It is a 125mm wide stretchy band what wraps around your chest. It will really help the pain. While skiing once I fell and fell right on the side of my ski pole. Put about a 125mm bend in the pole. It just fit between two of my ribs and stretched the ribs apart. The muscles that form an "X" to hold the ribs in place were strained. The doctor said if I'd broken one or two it would have hurt less. The belly band really helped. Wishing you a full recovery.....

As you already know, cracked ribs are nothing to sneeze at (sorry!). Get well soon. Oh, and the bodhran is one of my favorite Irish instruments. Thanks for the ditty -- cheered up an otherwise dismal morning..

Thanks, John. I think there's a bit more Irish in you than just your name!!!
