I recently bought an older bandsaw (1970's Delta/Rockwell) at an estate sale. It works great, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to make a jig for it. The table does not have a slot to act as a guide for the jig. The table is totally solid except for the opening for the blade. I haven't been able to able to find any jigs in the library that would work for my bandsaw. Mainly wanting the jig for cutting segmented blanks. Any suggestions?

You could make a slide that fits over the edges of the table like an inverted "U". a second option would be to permanently mount a 3/4" piece of melamine to the top surface and add a slide channel. These can be had from several places; Woodcraft and Rockler among them.
