Hi guys. Got this great piece of Bakelite from Exotics. I forget what the "official" color is, but it's just funky enough :) Hate the smell when turning it, but boy does it come out pretty!! MM to 12000, then plastic polish. Kit is a 22k Majestic Jr. Thanks for looking!

It turns very nice! Smells like formaldehyde when you turn and drill it (makes your nose burn...LOL). If you can turn an acrylic then you can turn this.
 
That is awesome. Really like that color. LOML take anything I make that has green in it. She'd flip for something like that. Outstanding!!
 
Fantastic looking pen. I agree about the smell. I think the only worse is casein. I really like that bright green, gonna have to try it. Nice work.
 
Thanks everyone! I turned some water buffalo horn today also and that is some serious stink... Love turning the bakelite though. Haven't done any casein yet, but it's on my to do list!
 
Beautiful! Love these Bakelite pens that are showing up recently--nothing else looks quite like it.
