Well I recieved some bad news last night....:frown:

The "keeper of the house-hold budget" has informed me that I cannot buy any more pen blanks from you guys..:frown:

Unit I make something out of the ones I already have, she is tired of the postman, delivering little packages and not seeing anything come out of the workshop!

HAAA I will show her, its off to the shed for me for a week, so there

I'm sure Kev BOUGHT the molds for his lovely "missus" to enjoy the "wonderful world of casting" in the kitchen, while HE slaved away, turning in the "shed".

She is SO LUCKY he thought of her!!!!

(Now, remember that, Kev!!!)

Is that how it started at your place????

Doh! I mentioned this to my wife, and she thinks that's a good idea. But those blanks are so neat. I don't want to harm them by putting them on my lathe.

Kev, get a couple of pens done and you'll have her helping you to select more blanks to order. I made a couple of nice pens for my wife and now she's picking out blanks she wants me to try. The way she brags on them you'd think I had talent.

my wife said I get more packages than anyone she ever heard of and I just say an IAP member sent me some STUFF. she shakes her head....................

I always take the wife with me to the local wood seller and to Woodcraft... I tell her I just want to look.... she'll pick out all the blanks and I can slip in a couple I like.... so as Ken suggested.. let her pick out a blank she likes, make her a pen and get ready for the next flood of blanks...

BTW, I use the same thought process of the household budget.... I keep ALL of my money in her wallet.

Yea I always get the "more blocks to play with huh" speech....Never seen a grown man get so happy over a box of blocks.....
