I'm not sure when beautiful Scotland was nicknamed God's Country, but besides the wonderful countryside, the Scots themselves must have gone back for seconds and thirds when He was handing out creativity and inginuity.
I was up here working last week and when I left site, I went past The Kelpies . Utterly amazing 100ft, 300 ton sculpures of the Celtic mythical water horses. Check the link out. They are almost complete. Worth checking out.
I'm back in the same area and a short walk from my hotel is another wonderful piece of Scottish engineering that I've wanted to visit for years.
Well God was watering his garden and kept most of the crowds away, but here's a couple of pics of the Falkirk Wheel.
( Guess which long standing IAP member is lucky to live only a few miles from here??
Lucky sod!! )
