Just got back from a week`s vacation in Cuba - so my apologies if you`ve sent me a PM and I haven`t replied in a week!

I must say - it`s a shock to the senses to be swimming in the ocean and baking in the sun in the morning, and driving through a blizzard at night...50 degree swing in temperature is tough to get used to!

I did...quite good! Cheap as well (and no, I"m not talking about the banana leaf and street sweepings cigars that everyone and their dog offers you on the streets of Havana)

Unfortunately, I bought a box at the airport cigar shop, and realized that they have some white mold on them when I got them home...so that's very unfortunate! Luckily, it was a small box.

On TV they always show a lot of 50's and 60's classic cars and pickups driving around down there? Is that factual?

Absolutely everywhere - along with brand new, top of the line Chinese and European cars (new cars are almost exclusively driven by Cabbies, who suck up the tourist dollars)...donkey carts, rickshaws, bicycles, you name it....you get desensitized to the old deSotos and Cadillacs after the second day, because they're just about everywhere.

trapped in the past, with bits of modern society mixed in. I'll post some pictures if there's any interest...
