I went back to my wood source and showed him the pen in question and he said it was Oak Burl,so I stand corrected,was not trying to mislead anyone i really thought it was walnut,thanks for the heads up Dario.

No problem Bill...it is an awesome piece no matter what wood it is made of []

BTW, I believe it is more valuable as oak burl than walnut due to rarity...but I may be mistaken.
