Are you a new member of IAP (even it you are not, pay attention)?

As a member of IAP you have certain rights which include:

The right to learn.

The right to have fun.

The right to have an opinion.

You can exercise all of those right by checking out the 32 beautiful pens that are on display in the Russ Fairfield Memorial Modified Slimline Contest voting poll AND voting for you favorite pen.

It doesn't matter if you've never made a pen before. You are entitled to your opinion. Pick one and vote!!

Not sure how to vote?

On the home screen click on the contest link. See the image below where the red arrow is pointing.

Once you see the list of contests, click on the Russ Fairfield poll and vote. You have today to get your vote in. Don't miss your chance. Voting in pen contests is an important privilege that you are granted with membership. Don't let it go to waste.

Any question? Just ask by replying here.

After you have practiced voting on the Russ Fairfield competition head on over to the advanced competition and pick 3 pens for the finals!

And if you're bummed you missed out on the pen competitions, you STILL have almost 2 days (until midnight PST Friday Feb 21st to be precise...) to enter all three of the Photo Contests!!!

Who said entry stealing was dead.. Go Toddlajoie. Now that my contest is into the voting you and Derek the Trivia entrant stealing varmint can duke it out!

Now it's time to make 37 aliases so I can vote 37 more times!

I tempted to say "that's the spirit", but...

1) it's a little more spirit that we are looking for in this contest

2) saying "that's the spirit" under those circumstances would be very chicagoesque and people might start thinking I like Chicago style pizza.

3) I can't think of 3 at the moment but there are probably plenty of good reasons left to not appear to be encouraging ballot stuffing

But feel free to post like mad encouraging everybody to vote. I'll bet there are people in the trivia contest that would love to have a post appear reminding them to vote in the Russ Fairfield contest.

If you are a new turner (you get to define "new" for yourself) and you read this thread, please post a reply (even if you just say "hi!") so we can get an indication of the effectiveness of our get out the vote campaign.

I'm trying to decide whether my voter turnout enhancement budget is better spent in generating lots of witty, entertaining and motivation posts OR if I should switch to the proven technique of cash incentives.

What do you think?

Oh yeah....don't forget to vote in the Russ Fairfield contest. Not sure how? See the first post in this thread!
