I started this project to make something artsy and strickly decorative, but ended up with a martini glass I think. 
This is made from a block of walnut that I got from a friend a little over 2 years ago when I first started turning. I was inspired when I woke up this morning to finally figure out how to mount it to the lathe and turn it. The stem is made from cherry. I've never turned anything like this before and it was a learning process the entire time and it was great!! Comments are always appreciated. Thanks for looking!
