Thanks Manny!

I enjoyed that article. I have found that I like writing with my favorite pens, on paper, in longhand or cursive. I have to slow down and process what I'm writing when I write by hand. I am not a hater of technology, but writing with my fountain pen on nice paper is a completely different process.

I also enjoyed reading the responses to this article. As with all ideas some people just don't get them, usually because they don't want to.

I have used electronic gadgets for my calendar for years (now the iphone) but I still keep a small one from moleskin, just because I like to write and am a constant doodler.

The only thing for sure about data storage on disk or memory chip of any kind is it will go non readable eventually. It may be in 5 minutes or 500 years, but it will go bad. Worse yet the tech that is used to read that data will become extinct even faster so edven if your data is still good, it can not be read because the drives to read it will no longer work in today's machine.
No I am not anti tech. Mater factly I make part of my living working on this tech.
Dead dianosaurs smeared on dead trees are totally predictable. besides all that, I just find it comfortable to curl up in bed with a good book and read myself to sleep, Try that with your laptop and tomorrow you'll send it off for a new screen from when it hit the floor.
PAPER RULES!
