Army Officer pen suggestion

I want to gift a high ranking army officer. I'm thinking Salute the Troops, Bald Eagle, 30cal bolt? Please make suggestions. Single barrel if possible. Thank you.

Thanks for the custom blank ideas.... but I'm trying to work around $20 complete. I do not know the person receiving it. Just starting to meet, get to know him. He is a new neighbor and simply want to give him a pen as a welcome to the street. Just a friendly gesture. I might give him one of the pens shown in post 1
 
Frank I just checked my stash… I have these 3 bolt action blanks left over from some of the pens I donated to the local VFW. Since your intentions are to do something nice for your Army Officer neighbor, I want to help you out. If you want one of these, you let me know the one you like, PM me your address, and I'll send it to you for free.

Wow John that is a very cool thing you offered him! That s 1 of the reasons i love IAP. So many great people!

On my pen I just bought the blank from MrKugelschreiber on here. I bought the box from penmitsmall on their black friday sale.

It's people like John make this a great place to be. Without knowing him I'd say it's easy to friends with him. I'm grateful for the offer. Very kind of you(John) to do this. I look forward to seeing the pen completed. Will post when finished.
EDIT...every IAP member rocks. You're a solid group. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
