I need to get a feel for how many will be attending, and if I need to get a block of hotel rooms again this year. You don't have to be certain right now, just a maybe would be nice. I'm getting nervous like the old days, when I had nightmares that 10 people would show up. Thanks!
Dates are set for April 26,27. That may change if I don't get enough demo volunteers, to where the 26th will be social time, demos on Saturday the 27th. Bloomington, IL at the IBEW Hall.

The correct dates are April 26 & 27. The correct location is Bloomington, IL. Thanks for catching my goof and I am sorry for any confusion. I will now stop trying to be helpful :redface::eek::redface:

At least I got the name right.............................I think..............did'nt I? I hope I don't show up in the wrong city, on the wrong dates and sit there wondering where everybody is!:eek:
 
Does Amtrak run through Bloomington, or somewhere close? Since I ride for free (for the most part of the trip) I think I'd like to attend from Montana. Someone let me know please about Amtrak and what the venue of the conference normally entails.

You are looking at the info here as it unfolds. Amtrak does run through Bloomington, it's on the line between St. Louis and Chicago. (Route 66) Vendors to date; Exotic Blanks, Coers Wood and Wood Blanks. Demonstrators to date; Ed Brown, Gerry Wilhite, and Richard Coers. There is no subject matter given to me on what they want to demo. More info will be posted as I get it.

We have a club meeting tonight, and should get our liability insurance figured out. The AAW has a much cheaper package available, than earlier this year. So that looks good for all of us. I'll let everyone know tomorrow.
