This is from an old apple tree that fell and nearly hit the house about 3 years ago. I usually find random bits ive cut up every 6 months or so when cleaning out drawers in the shop. Below is a bonus shot of a matching bottle opener from the same tree. The kit is a full size Zen from user Scrofts1219, it is a really fun kit to turn - very straight forward.

Beautiful work. I love fruitwood blanks, often fussy with drying, but can have a beautiful grain and knots.
